New Orleans Show: Lindveit scored 100 and Chief Pomorski a 97 on cabs. Myrt won blue
     ribbon.Trophy; Chief Pomorski won Blue Ribbon as did Dorothy Moore and Vi Hazzard.
Continue donation to Museum of Natural Science.
Myrt Yarbrough and Chief Pomorski teaching classes in lapidary at home on Tuesday nights.

     Texas rocks. Mr. Pressler showed aerial maps of Mason County with topaz sites. Ben Noble

1954 In April, held an auction to help West Texas Gem & Mineral Society of Odess to finance
     the State Show. We sent them $95 which they returned to us after the show. It was a
     financially successful show.
Had four cases made for club to use in the State Show (May 16-18).
Programs included sulfur mining by Vietti and Pressler and B.L. Byrd's gadget for cutting
     spheres and sols. ???
Field Trip to Woodard's Ranch, Show & Tell summer rock collecting trips, and prospecting
     for petroleum.
Christmas dinner speaker was Dr. Paugh, Curator at Museum of Natural Science in New York.
Ben Noble set up a display of equipment for testing gem stones.
                                                                                                                 
1953 The Club received $200 from Southwest Federation and from Rocky Mountain Federation for holding the show.
The Grand Door Prize was a Linde Sapphire mounted.
Our first show with the federations was a success.
Programs included a quartz carving shown by Mr. Taylor that he purchased in Japan, how to make a lap using old saw blades, and Mr. Heigh Leiper gave a talk on the Gonzales Foundation for Crippled Children.
                                                                                                                 
1952 The club rejected an invitation to join the Rocky Mountain Federation.
Silverwork class held at Houston Recreation Center.
Voted to host the Rocky Mountain Federation and Southwest Federation Show in 1953.
Joined the Southwest Federation and raised dues to $3 to cover both Federation and local
    dues.
Dropped initiation fee.
Programs included a rock swap and sale, and Mr. Hugh Leiper spoke on where and how to
    find topaz.
                                                                                                                 
1951 Mr. Vietti placed a combined order for Club members.
Mr. Vietti, Mr. Fry, Mr. Swain, and Mr. Isaacks invited members to their shops.
Programs: Mr. Fry gave a review of a lecture on diamonds and Mr. Richard E. Wright showed
